Strawberry Plant Varieties – Sundrench

Sundrench is a large to extra-large plant with tall long petioles which upholds the leaves to an open canopy. Long pedicels protrude out of the canopy with mostly good size berries which ensures easy picking. Plant spacing is important as this variety can be susceptible to powdery mildew and other fungal diseases if planted too close. Fruit is large, soft and juicy, can turn dark and sometimes has green shoulders.
